Jeff Mandel is the managing partner of Fisher & Phillips’ Orlando office. He represents private and public-sector employers in all aspects of employment and traditional labor law.
Jeff counsels clients on employment issues including: employment discrimination and retaliation, civil rights, disabilities, family and medical leave, wage and hour matters, military leave, employment policies, and employment agreements.
He also handles employment-related litigation before the state and federal courts and administrative agencies involving claims including discrimination, retaliation, wrongful discharge, breach of contract, FMLA, FLSA, and USERRA.
Jeff has extensive experience representing employers in employment-related and labor arbitrations (including AAA, FMCS, and FINRA). His practice also includes the representation of employers before the NLRB and the Florida PERC, as well as negotiating labor contracts.
Jeff is Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Labor and Employment and has served as a contributing editor of the American Bar Association’s publication, The Fair Labor Standards Act.
In 2013 Jeff was inducted as a Fellow into The College of Labor & Employment Lawyers.
